Spiral Jones release back on Imperial Dub back in 1997. Imperial Dub was the home of Dubtribe Soundsystem, who has remixes on this record. One of the members of Dubtribe Soundsystem is Sunshine Jones, an influential figure in the California house music scene.

"The music here comes from a collaboration of drums between our friend Greg Boyer and Dubtribe. We played the drums to a 4/4 kick in real time. Later we constructed these edited dubs for dj mixing."
