Norm Talley keeps it more real than real once again with new EP "Pier Place Project". Returning to FXHE, this new collection from Detroit mainstay Talley finds him working the channels of Motor City house and techno in a manner similar to FXHE boss Omar S. "The Runner" and "Stars" are both propulsive jams that play the minimal synths of Robert Hood off against some classy drums and organs. Sandwiched between these two we have the slower, more soulful cuts "Twi-Lite" and "I’m Feelin’ Hot".
